Peania, Friday June 28, 2013 – A joint venture comprising of the companies AKTOR ATE, J&P-AVAX and INTRAKAT SA, in which INTRAKAT participates with a 25% stake, signed with ERGA-OSE SA on 21.06.2013 a contract for the project titled «Construction of infrastructure for the new twin railway line in the section Rododafni – Psathopyrgos marked from 91+500 to 113+000 and the Panagopoula tunnel», budgeted at €293.1 m (excl. revisions and VAT).

The project pertains to the construction of the infrastructure for a 21.5 km section of the new high-speed rail line and all related railway and road works, bridges and underpasses.

It also includes construction of the 4.5km-long Panagopoula twin tunnel with connecting shafts and a 0.55 km-long access tunnel.

The contract sets a 36-month deadline for completion of works.
