International Partnerships
The collaboration between the Athens Exchange Group and the Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) introduced the concept of the Common Platform, which entails the shared use of infrastructure and operational rules. This approach capitalizes on synergies, achieves economies of scale, and ultimately fosters the mutual growth of both exchanges. The Common Platform is designed to drive the development of both markets.
Through this partnership, the Athens Exchange Group offers the CSE a comprehensive suite of services, ranging from the provision of IT systems and infrastructure to operational support and business development initiatives.
Beyond its role as a shareholder, the Athens Stock Exchange collaborates with the Boursa Kuwait Stock Exchange by offering advisory services to support the expansion and enhancement of its products and services within the framework of its Development Plan.
The collaboration with the Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) encompasses two key elements: the Athens Stock Exchange’s participation in BELEX’s share capital and the provision of advanced systems and services to enhance BELEX’s operations. This partnership not only strengthens BELEX’s role in supporting the development of the Serbian economy but also drives the expansion of its product and service offerings.
New Markets
Athens Exchange Group played a key role in the founding of the Hellenic Energy Exchange and is now one of its main shareholders. Additionally, the Group delivers a wide range of advanced systems and services, helping EnExGroup to effectively fulfill its mission and strengthen its position in the energy market.
The collaboration between Athens Exchange Group and DESFA exemplifies the strategic application of the Group’s expertise and infrastructure to advance the development of Greece’s energy sector. This partnership includes delivering systems and infrastructure to DESFA for the operation of the Natural Gas Balancing Market in Greece, as well as facilitating auctions for the allocation of unloading slots and regasification capacity at the Revithoussa LNG Terminal.
Athens Exchange Group, in collaboration with the Energy Exchange Group, contributed to the establishment and commencement of operations of the Albanian Energy Market. This multifaceted project encompasses knowledge transfer, advisory services, as well as the provision of ICT infrastructure and operational systems.
