The Hellenic Central Securities Depository (ATHEXCSD) provides services including initial recording, central maintenance of accounts, and settlement of securities in book-entry form as well as other ancillary services (e.g. shareholders' registers, support of the processing of corporate actions etc.) through the Dematerialized Securities System (DSS).
Joining ATHEXCSD, a Central Securities Depository (CSD) licensed under CSDR (Central Securities Depositories Regulation), offers significant advantages to Participants, by streamlining the settlement process, reducing risk, and ensuring the secure custody of securities in either segregated or omnibus Securities Accounts.
