Initiation of Membership Process
Our expert team is readily available to support you throughout the entire process of the Membership journey. A specialized account manager delegated to each application, will assist you in the whole simple and fast process, choosing the most suitable connectivity options tailored to your business, trading strategies, and market activity level. The Memberships steps are:
- Submit your application and KYC documents to initiate your registration process, after selecting which company you would like to register with:
- ATHEX Cash and/or Derivatives Markets Trading Member
- ATHEXCLEAR Cash and/or Derivatives Markets, DCM or GCM Member
- ATHEXCSD Participant
You can apply for registration with all three companies if you meet the relevant requirements.
- Your account manager will keep you informed about the evaluation of your application and your KYC documents.
- Once your application is approved, we proceed with the necessary checks and your registration in our trading UAT and Production systems.
Selection of the Best Connectivity Model (ATHEX-ATHEXCSD-ATHEXCLEAR)
- Option to select different types of connections, always based on each Member's individual needs and targets:
- Internet, LAN to LAN VPN
- Low latency circuits
- Option to connect to ATHEX via Data Centres in Athens, London, and Nicosia
- Access to our services through GUIs, Native APIs, and FIX Protocol
- Ability to leverage high value-added services, such as Colocation and Proximity services
Members’ Systems Testing (UAT)
Systems testing plays a vital role in verifying the functionality and reliability of software or systems prior to release.
This process involves thoroughly evaluating both functional and technical components to identify and fix any issues, measure performance, and confirm that the systems of our Members and Participants meet the expectations of the users and the regulations.
By conducting these tests, compliance with specifications is ensured, reducing operational and security risks, while improving the overall quality and stability of the final product.
Final Configuration and Selection of the First Trading Day
Setting up the final configuration and establishing the initial trading and/or clearing and/or settlement day, for a new Member, is essential for seamless market integration.
Final configuration includes adjusting all technical and operational settings to align with our Group’s standards and requirements.
This preparation is vital for the new Member’s success, as it reduces risks and facilitates a smooth and efficient entry into the market.
