The FTSE/ASE Indices Committee, during its session today, approved the following changes regarding the composition of the ATHEX indices as such changes are derived in accordance with the "Ground Rules for the Management and Operation of Indices". It is reminded that the ranking for Composite Indices derives from the numerical average of each share''s ranking order, the historic value of transactions (trade blocks excluded) of the semester from April 1 till Sept.30 and the average market capitalization in the same period. These changes will be immediately put into effect after the closing of the ATHEX trading session on November 5, 2004, i.e. on November 8, 2004.

There will not be any changes in the composition of the following ATHEX indices: Banking, Telecommunications, Investments, IT solutions-items, Basic Metals, Insurance, Real Estate and Refineries.

There is no Reserve Stocks List for indices of the following sectors, namely, Basic Metals, IT Solutions-items, Telecommunications, Insurance, Real Estate and Refineries
