PROFIT WARNING

Hellenic Exchanges Holding S.A. reports that its company and consolidated financial statements for the period ended at September 2000 will be announced during the following week.

From the processing of the financial data, it is deducted that sales and profits of the two major companies that are included in the consolidation (Athens Stock Exchange S.A. and Central Securities Depository S.A.) have decreased significantly in relation to last year's respective period. This decrease is due to the decline in the value of transactions, as well as to the decrease in the number of new listings and in the number of capital increases.

On the other hand, Athens Derivatives Exchange S.A., Athens Derivatives Exchange Clearing House S.A., as well as Systems Development and Support House of Capital Market S.A. have enhanced their financials, in relation to the 2000 9-month period.
