First Half 2023 Financial Results of Unibios Holdings

Increase of Turnover and Improvement of Profitability

 

UNIBIOS HOLDINGS S.A. Group of Companies announced the financial results for the first half of the fiscal year 2023 in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs).

 

During the first half of 2023, consolidated sales of UNIBIOS Group increased by 47.3%, i.e. from 3,525 thousand Euro to 5,190 thousand Euro. This increase is attributed to the significant increase in sales of the Group's subsidiary, Watera International.

 

Consolidated gross profit in the first half of 2023 increased by 35.5% to 1,906 thousand Euro, compared to 1,407 thousand Euro in the corresponding period of 2022. The gross profit margin stood at 36.7%.

 

The Group's results before tax (EBT) in the first half of the fiscal year 2023 increased by 58 thousand Euro compared to the corresponding period of 2023 and amounted to profits of 94 thousand Euro, against profits of 36 thousand Euro in the previous corresponding period.

 

Also, UNIBIOS Group, in the first half of the fiscal year 2023, achieved total profit after tax (PAT). of 53 thousand Euro, against a loss of 20 thousand Euro in the previous corresponding period.

 

Finally, it is noted that on June 30, 2023, the Group's total Cash and Cash Equivalents amounted to 3,036 thousand Euro increased by 2,753 thousand Euro against the total Cash Reserves of 31 December 2023 of 284 thousand Euro.
