Financial results for the year 2022 Unibios Holdings

Strong growth and increase of profitability

UNIBIOS HOLDINGS S.A. Group of Companies announced the financial results for the Fiscal Year 2022 in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs).

During the Fiscal Year 2022, consolidated sales of UNIBIOS Group increased by 32.6%, i.e. from 8,478 thousand Euro to 11,244 thousand. Euro.  This increase is attributed to the significant increase in sales in the water treatment sector, i.e. the sales of the Watera International Group.

Unibios Group's gross profit increased by 34.6% compared to the previous year and amounted to 4,194 thousand Euro, compared to 3,115 thousand Euro. The gross profit margin stood at 37.3%.

The Group's results before tax (EBT) for the Fiscal Year 2022 increased by 447 thousand Euro compared to the Fiscal Year 2021 and amounted to profits of 998 thousand Euro, against profits of 552 thousand Euro during the previous Fiscal Year.

Also, UNIBIOS Group, in 2022, increased its total profit after tax (PAT) to 651 thousand Euro, compared to 334 thousand Euro in the previous financial year.

Finally, the Group's total EBITDA in 2022 was further strengthened and amounted to 1,812 thousand Euro or 16.1% of turnover, compared to 1,287 thousand Euro, or 15.2% for the previous exercise.
