The S.A. company under the trade name “ELVALHALCOR HELLENIC COPPER AND ALUMINIUM INDUSTRY S.A.” (hereinafter referred to as the “Company” or “ELVALHALCOR S.A.”), Η ανώνυμη εταιρία με την επωνυμία «ΕΛΒΑΛΧΑΛΚΟΡ ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΒΙΟΜΗΧΑΝΙΑ ΧΑΛΚΟΥ ΚΑΙ ΑΛΟΥΜΙΝΙΟΥ ΑΝΩΝΥΜΟΣ ΕΤΑΙΡΙΑ» (στο εξής «η Εταιρεία» ή «ΕΛΒΑΛΧΑΛΚΟΡ Α.Ε.») announces to the investment community, in accordance with article 17 par. 1 of the Regulation (ΕU) nr. 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014, and article 2 par. 2 point (e) of the Decision of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission nr. 3/347/12.07.2005, that the Board of Directors of the Company, in its meeting of 29.11.2021, has appointed, as new General Manager of the Copper Segment, Mr. Panagiotis Lolos of Charalampos, who will exercise at the same time his current duties, as General Manager of the Copper and Copper Alloys Division. In the same above meeting the Board of Directors has elected Mr. Panagiotis Lolos of Charalampos also as executive member of the Board of Directors, in replacement of the resigned Mr. Periklis Sapountzis of Christos.

Mr. Panagiotis Lolos of Charalampos was born in 1972.  He holds a B.A. in Political Science & International Studies from Panteion University, an M.A. in International Economics from North Carolina State University and an MBA from the University of Piraeus. Since 2001 he joined the heavy industry as an executive, and holds the position of the General Manager of the Copper and Copper Alloys Division of ELVALHALCOR S.A. since 2020. He is the Chairman of the ASSOCIATION OF INDUSTRIES OF CENTRAL GREECE, member of the General Assembly of the HELLENIC FEDERATION OF ENTERPRISES (SEV) in which he holds the position of the Chairman of the International Trade Committee.

The General Manager of the Copper Segment and executive member of the Board of Directors until today, Mr. Periklis Sapountzis of Christos, has been appointed, in the same above meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company, as a Management Consultant of the Group of ELVALHALCOR SA. henceforward.
