Following an article referring to a rumored sale of the non-listed subsidiary company under the trade name “ETEM COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LIGHT METALS SOCIETE ANONYME” (hereinafter “ETEM”) (https://www.bankingnews.gr/to-paraskinio-tis-agoras/articles/611430/ligo-meta-to-kleisimo-tou-xa-ptosi-logo-geopolitikon-anisyxion-xamilos-o-tziros της 17.02.2022, in the comment referring to ELVALHALCOR), the company under the trade name “ELVALHALCOR HELLENIC COPPER AND ALUMINIUM INDUSTRY S.A.” (hereinafter the “Company”), informs the investor community, pursuant to the existing stock exchange legislation, that discussions are being conducted to explore a strategic cooperation between ETEM and the company COSMOS ALUMINIUM S.A. in the aluminium extrusion sector.

The Company shall keep the investor community informed on any significant development.
