With regard to the article of the newspaper "NAFTEMPORIKI" on 19-5-2010 and the relative question of the Capital Market Commission, the Company announces the following:
1. On 4 March 2010 the Vice-president of the Government Mr Th. Pagalos announced at an Interministerial Committee, that the proposal submitted from P.P.A.SA. to the Government about the "Attica Port System" will be promoted so as the Port Authorities of Lavrion, Elefsis and Rafina to become subsidiary companies of P.P.A.SA.
2. The BoD President and Managing Director of P.P.A. SA Mr Giorgos Anomeritis, has submitted in the Ministry of Economy, Competitiveness and Shipping his proposal for the project. An analytical and precise proposal for the promotion of the Government's decision was also submitted to the Company's main shareholder, the Ministry of Finance.
3. The Government, by the time of the Company's General Meeting of shareholders, intends to announce its proposals regarding the framework of the reformation of the country's Port System.
4. Mr G. Anomeritis at his speech at the Propeller Club did not mention the project, nor granted an interview to the Media. In response to a question from a journalist of the "Naftemporiki" newspaper, whether he submitted his proposal for the Attica Port System answered positively, but not in the context of a text or an interview. All those published in the newspaper, constitute a small part of the proposal and the relative studies that have been carried out.
