Piraeus Bank announces that, the one-off extraordinary tax contribution of social responsibility on the total 2009 profit before tax of legal entities as imposed by Article 5 of Law 3845/2010, will amount, according to the Bank's estimations, to Euro 20 mn approximately for the Bank and Euro 8 mn for its subsidiaries.
The amount of the above tax contribution will be finalized after the receipt of the relevant Settlement Notes issued by the competent Tax Authorities and will be recognized in 2010 Income Statement.
