The Water Supply and Sewerage Systems Company of Thessaloniki S.A would like to announce the following with regards to the publication on the 15th of January 2010 in the press, regarding the termination of the subsidiary EYATH Services S.A as well as the termination of the contract with E. MALAMATINAS S.A:
1) The Regular Stockholders General Meeting decided on the 29th of June 2007 on the foundation of the subsidiary EYATH Services S.A.
2) The Regular Stockholders General Meeting on the 20th of June 2008, on the 8th issue of the agenda regarding the approval of a principles framework and investment business plan in the field of bottled water production in cooperation with E. MALAMATINAS S.A., has approved the proposal initially, while the approval of the remaining parts of the framework (contract plans, business plans, etc) lies within the authority of the Company's BoD.
Naturally, Company Management reserves the right to review any co operations, always keeping the Company's best interest in mind, in compliance with its authority and obligations towards investors and the Company's social character.
