Announcement

Focusing on the enhancement of Lavipharm's competitive position, business growth and development, corporate management proceeded with the establishment of a Commercial Division with Mr. Christos Kartalis in charge. Its goal is to meet successfully the continuously increasing requirements and new rules of the global market.
Mr. Kartalis' main responsibilities, new Chief Commercial Officer, are the promotion and application of Lavipharm's developmental strategy in the commercial activities in Greece and abroad. Its implementation demands continuous effort for financial growth and business development, enhancing its competitiveness, its market shares and its position in the Greek and international pharmaceutical industry.
Mr. Kartalis has wide international experience in the pharmaceutical market. He has been a General Manager with Johnson and Johnson and Bristol Myers Squibb for over 12 years in Greece, Asia, Turkey, the USA and EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) where he was the EMEA Vice President from 2004 to 2007, before returning to Greece.
He holds a Bachelor's in Finance and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts and a post-MBA from Insead, France. He speaks English, French, Greek and Turkish. He is 45 years old, married and father of two children.
Lavipharm is an integrated Group engaged in the research, development, manufacturing, marketing, sales, wholesaling, distribution, retailing and provision of logistics services for pharmaceutical, cosmetic and consumer health products in Greece with a strong international activity.
