INTRAKAT Group released its nine-month of 2007 financial results according to I.F.R.S. in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (I.F.R.S.).
In more detail, consolidated turnover marked 56.1% increase and amounted to euro 102.7 mil over euro 65.8 mil, in the respective period of 2006.
Group gross profit also marked significant increase by 174.9% and stood at euro 10.8 mil. over euro 3.9 mil in the respective period last year. Accordingly, gross profit margin improved notably and reached 10.5% of the consolidated turnover over 6.0% in the nine-month period of 2006.
Total consolidated earnings before interest, tax and depreciation (EBITDA) marked turnaround and stood at earnings of euro 5.27 mil in the nine month period of 2007 from losses euro 1.46 mil. last year.
Likewise, total consolidated earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) reported gain of euro 2.76 mil from losses of euro 3.71 mil last year, while total net after taxes and minority interests results (EATAM) formed at losses of euro 690 thou over losses of euro 2,032 thou in the respective period of 2006.
It is noteworthy that as from the beginning of 2007 up until September 30, 2007 INTRAKAT Group has undertaken and executes signed projects of a total value of euro 222 mil in Greece as well as abroad. This fact combined with the results of the nine-month period of 2007, substantiate the solid and positive performance of the Group, which is the result of the successful implementation of management's strategic decision to participate in projects in its field of expertise, so as to exploit, the best way possible, its know-how and specialization in broadband and natural gas infrastructure projects and to streamline the plant's operations by increasing its competitive edge and introducing new products.
