Significant participation and presentation of the new gaming platform B-On at the World Lottery Association?s Trade Show
INTRALOT had a strong presence at the annual Congress & Trade Show of the World Lottery Association (WLA) at Durban in South Africa. The Company presented the innovative gaming platform B-On that allows participation in a multiplayer environment - through mobile phones and PCs - which combines entertainment gaming together with betting, tournaments and new generation scratch tickets.
In the congress session "Technology and Innovations in the Gaming Sector", B-On attracted special interest during its presentation since it constitutes a new gaming approach in the sector that will lead to the transformation of the traditional ways of gaming participation to new advanced ways of participation and communication, based on an individual's aptitude and knowledge coupled with luck. Moreover, B-On features an interface environment where all players are capable of setting wages to each other, to create special groups according to their interests, as well as to exchange information related to the game.
During the Trade Show, INTRALOT's booth attracted a great number of participants, over 900 persons, which were represented 144 organizations - members of WLA from 77 countries globally. The visitors had the chance to take a close look and to become acquainted with the whole set of the Company's products, that includes the integrated information systems, a large range of services, as well as high quality terminals like CORONIS, Video Lottery Terminals and alternative sales channels (through Internet, I-TV, mobile phones).
At the same time, in a panel of the congress with the topic: "Technology and New Developments in the Gaming Sector" that was organized with the participation of the most important suppliers of the sector, Mr. Tom Little, President and CEO of INTRALOT USA, commented that: "the suppliers and the organizations of the sector must maintain a high level of consumer interest by offering multiple form entertainment games, which embodies new technology and alternative channels, that they have already assimilated from the new groups of players".
