Scheduled road show of the A.S.E. in London

The scheduled road show of the A.S.E., took place on November 23, 2000, at the premises of Financial Times, in London, and was attended by institutional investors.

The President of the Athens Stock Exchange, Mr Panagiotis Alexakis, declared that despite the international negative momentum, which affects all the international Markets, as well as the A.S.E. this period, having thus a negative impact, there are investment opportunities, yet significant, under the current price levels of the shares, along with the fact that the Capital Markets experts consider the Greek Capital Market as a very attractive one. The significant investment opportunities on the ASE are reinforced by the development of the Greek Economy, for which, the representatives of the IMF, who visited Greece, have expressed very positive comments.

The good investment opportunities can be exploited by the investors, who ought to be careful with their investment choices and adopt a long-term investment aspect.

When these prerequisites are fulfilled, then the experience both of the ASE and the other international Markets will indicate that their returns are positive and higher from any other returns of fixed income investments.
