In reply to your letter with protocol number 10963/10-3-06, in relation to a press report on Imerissia newspaper, regarding "acquisition of gambling company planned by OPAP" we would like to inform you that during the analysts? and institutional investors' conference call on the company's annual results and in questions put, the Managing Director referred to the following:

a) In relation to questions concerning balance sheet leveraging, the answer was that such leveraging would be possible though the acquisition of a similar company or the purchase by the state of concession rights for a new game. Despite that it is already announced that the Managements' priorities involve the upgrading of the existing games, planning of Bingo-Lotto and improvement of its technological infrastructure, none of the above potentials could be excluded, in addition to the provisions of the Corporate Charter. In any case of future development the company will promptly inform the investing public.
b) As regards the proclamation for the selection of a Risk Management counselor for the "STIHIMA" game, as already announced on 30/01/2006 to the ATHEX, such will be submitted by the respective commission for approval by the BoD during March.
c) Concerning the question with regard to the increase of the playing hours of the ΚΙΝΟ game, such will gradually and cautiously take place, as already done since the launching of the game, taking always into consideration the accommodation of both players and agents and in accordance to the company's social policy.
d) In application of the provisions of the Ministerial Decision published in the Government Gazette on 16/11/2005, as regards potential gambling on "NON ATHLETIC EVENTS", the company's Board of Directors decided to include in the coupon of the "STIHIMA" the EUROVISION contest. Of course, next to the OSCARs and EUROVISION, other major non sport events will follow.
