Financial Results for the Year 2024 Unibios Holdings Group
Organic Sales Increase by 13.4% and Organic EBITDA by 29.8%
The UNIBIOS Holdings Group announced the financial results for the fiscal year 2024 based on the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
During the fiscal year 2024, the consolidated sales of the UNIBIOS Group increased by 13.4%, i.e. from 12,977 thousand Euros to 14,718 thousand. The continued increase is attributed to the increase in sales of the Watera International Group.
Unibios Group's gross profit increased by 20% compared the previous year and amounted to 5,867 thousand Euros compared to 4,889 thousand Euro for the comparative period. The gross profit margin strengthened from 37.7% to 39.8%.
The Group's organic recurring results before tax for the financial year 2024 amounted to a profit of 1,953 thousand Euros compared to 1,082 thousand Euros for the fiscal year 2023, an increase of 80.5%. The Group's final pre-tax results for the fiscal year 2024 amounted to a profit of 1,552 thousand, because they were reduced by the extraordinary cost of discontinuing the scaffolding trading and rental business, which amounted to 401 thousand Euros. In the corresponding period of 2023, the final results before taxes amounted to 2,402 thousand which included an extraordinary item of 1,321 thousand Euros, i.e. the net proceeds of the sale of part of the Group's property in the A' Industrial Area of Volos.
The Group's Organic Recurring EBITDA in 2024 amounted to EUR 2,728 thousand Euros or 18.5% of turnover compared to 2,104 thousand euros in 2023, an increase of 29.8%.
Finally, the total income after tax of the UNIBIOS Group, including all extraordinary non-recurring profits, losses and adjustments, in 2024 amounted to EUR 2,225 thousand. Compared to 2,045 thousand in 2023.
