Alpha Bank announces that on Aprlil 30, 2001 the resolution of the Ministry of Development concerning the approval of the merger by absorption of Alpha Finance by Alpha Bank, was recorded in the Registry of Societes Anonymes.As of May 2, 2001, the share of the absorbed Alpha Finance will no longer be negotiated in the Athens Stock Exchange. Those shareholders of Alpha Finance registered on April 30, 2001 are entitled to newly issued shares by Alpha Bank, as a result of the absorption at the rate of 1.35 share of Alpha Bank for every 1 share of Alpha Finance.The date, on which the shareholders/ accounts will be credited , shall be announced through the Press.
