Magnum Corporation Berhad has successfully launched INTRALOT''s online gaming system in Malaysia, after the project was awarded by Magnum Corporation Berhad, the most established gaming company of the country. Following an international tender, INTRALOT has signed an eight (8) years'' contract with option to extend for up to another two (2) years. The contract value is estimated to be $ 15,5 million.
The project includes the procurement, installation and support of an advanced, integrated lottery system comprised of up to 2,200 CORONIS terminals, the core operating system LOTOS, including the game software and a state-of-the-art leased line telecommunications infrastructure. Significant emphasis will be placed on increasing games'' sales through the implementation of games variations and therefore on the growth and the vivification of the local gaming market.
The sales'' network will be covered State by State, as per the roll-out plan of Magnum Corporation Berhad. It is estimated that the remaining 6 States will be fully operational within the next 2 - 3 months.
