With regard to the recent publications that concern our investment in Romania (Rom Telecom) OTE International Investments' Press Office announces the following:

OTE is currently in negotiations with the other shareholder of Rom Telecom, the Romanian State, regarding the confrontation of the company's problems and the conditions that will guarantee Rom Telecom's unhindered growth.

OTE, as a shareholder, is ready to fulfil the obligations that will result from the agreement.

Official statements will be provided upon the completion of the relevant negotiations.
