ALUMIL MILONAS administration announces with satisfaction the 2006 Award from the non-profit organization "GrowthPlus", being one of the top 500 leading corporations that created the most employment positions in Europe last year and substantially contributed to the European economic growth.
ALUMIL, the No1 aluminium extrusion and profiles industrial group in Greece, was distinguished for the seventh time since 1996 (1996, 1998, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 και 2005) among the leading European corporations. Awards special ceremony is taking place on Saturday, November 25th in Vienna.
ALUMIL ranked 37th - first among all Greek companies - among the fastest growing European companies included in the 2006 Europe''s 500 Listing (Europe''s 500 - Entrepreneurs for Growth, www.europes500.com). ALUMIL, once more, conquered the honorable distinction after its successful course over the last years. During the 2002-2005 period, the company has demonstrated an outstanding 116.9% increase in employment positions, creating 1,054 new job places and increased sales by Euro 62.89 m., a 49.7% increase since 2002, reaching Euro 190 m. (2005).
It is worth noting that GrowthPlus'' research was conducted among 28 countries, 25 E.U. members, Norway, Island and Sweden.
