Listing of Trade Estates Shares on the Main Market of the Athens Stock Exchange

 

The Athens Stock Exchange welcomed today the management team of Trade Estates Real Estate Investment Company (REIC), as well as representatives of the underwriters for the company’s public offering, to mark the start of trading of its shares on the Main Market of the Athens Stock Exchange.


"Trade Estates is one of the largest companies in its sector in Greece and the second company of the Fourlis Group to be listed on the Athens Stock Exchange after the listing of the parent company in 1988. The successful completion of the public offering confirms the trust of investors in the prospects of Trade Estates. The raised funds will allow the company to continue implementing its business and investment plans, and we wish it to further strengthen its position in this competitive market sector, enriching its managed portfolio and expanding its customer base," emphasized Yianos Kontopoulos, CEO of the Athens Exchange Group, in his speech.


"Trade Estates is a company with unique quality characteristics in the Real Estate Investment sector in Greece. Its presence on the Athens Stock Exchange, amidst intense geopolitical and economic challenges, enhances its position in modern retail," pointed out Vassilis Fourlis, Chairman of Trade Estates, adding: "With a strong capital structure, a dynamic and specialized management team, and a focus on integrity, corporate governance, and respect for social and environmental factors, we aim to maximize shareholder investment and create value for our partners."


On his part, Dimitris Papoulis, CEO of Trade Estates, highlighted: "With the funds we raised, we are now stronger. Finally, Nikos Kontaroudis, A’ Vice President of the Capital Markets Commission, congratulated the company, the Athens Stock Exchange, the advisor, and the underwriters for the result. He emphasized the strengthening of the REIC sector in the Greek Capital Market as an important option for investment capital. He also praised the work of the Capital Markets Commission’s Listed Companies Division for its significant support and continued efforts in ensuring the timely execution of the transaction.
