The Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Thessaloniki announces the liquidation of 174 of the company?s shares, deriving from the fractional residuals of January the 17th, 2003, by EUROBANK STOCK BROKING HOUSE at the Stock Exchange of Athens on September the 9th, 2003 and in compliance with the decision reached on June the 30th, 2004 at the Ordinary General Meeting of the Shareholders, as well as in compliance with a previous, relevant publication. Beneficiaries of the proceeds, pro-rata to fraction, are the company's 558 shareholders registered in the records of CSD (central securities depository) on closure of the meeting of the Stock Exchange of Athens on January the 17th, 2003.

By 256/04 decision of the Administrative Board of the company, the payment of the proceeds of the fractional residuals to the beneficiaries will be carried out by the branch network of EUROBANK ERGASIAS beginning from September the 21st, 2004 in the following manner:

1) Either through the authorized operators of the beneficial shareholders at PCS (paperless clearing system) (Stock broking houses, Banks etc.) 2) Either directly to the beneficial shareholders through the branch network of EUROBANK ERGASIAS A.O

Regarding the payment of the proceeds through the operators (Banks, Stock broking houses), the operators as well as the institutional investors are kindly requested to contact M. Regarding the collection of their fractional right directly from the beneficial shareholders, the shareholders will have to produce their identity card at the network's branches. The collection of the fractional right by a third person is possible as long as this person produces an authorization with the beneficiary?s full particulars, the signature of which must be attested by the police or some other appropriate authority.
