A new contract in Latin America has been awarded to Intralot from the state lottery organization of Chile 'Polla Chilena de Beneficencia' for the supplement and management of lottery games via alternative sale channels in the entire country. The new agreement includes the design, supply, installation, operation and support of an integrated platform, which will provide and manage the lottery games through Internet, call centres and mobile phones.

The agreement is for 6 years and has a 2-year renewal option. The launch is expected by the end of 2003, and Intralot de Chile will undertake the implementation of the technological infrastructure.

The new platform will be incorporated at the LOTOS system, which has already been installed and operates since 2002, and will have the capability to provide and support pre-payment and post-payment systems and methods.

The products that will be available by the new platform are all the existing games of 'Polla Chilena de Beneficencia': Lotto, Toto 3, Polla Gol, as well as instant lottery and traditional games. Moreover, within the 1st half of 2004 all the fixed odds betting games organized by the state lottery organization will be launched.

The new agreement reinforces Intralot?s position in the Latin American market and is expected to contribute at the sales growth of 'Polla Chilena de Beneficencia', as well as at the financial results of Intralot?s subsidiary in Chile.

It?s worth mentioning that in 2001 and after an international tender Intralot signed a 7-year contract with the state lottery organisation of Chile for the supply, installation and support of an integrated on-line gaming network.
