Intralot awarded a contract from "Polski Monopol Loteryjny" for Instant
Tickets operation in Poland

Athens, Greece · January 16th, 2003. Intralot has been awarded a ten year contract from the Pole State Lottery ?Polski Monopol Loteryjny? for the development, organization and operation of instant lotteries. In particular, Intralot has undertaken the design, production, distribution, promotion and validation of instant lotteries as well as the winners' payment and the payment of the amounts allocated for the Pole State. The remuneration of Intralot is based on a significant percentage of games' turnover.

In parallel, the agreement foresees the expansion of the cooperation to other kind of games with the use of Intralot' s integrated lottery systems via the existing distribution channels and the new media.

The Polski Monopol Loteryjny is one of the two State Lottery Organizations in Poland, whereas state monopoly in lotteries exists. The population of Poland is 38,6 million and the lottery market is estimated at US $600 million, annually. Intralot' s penetration in the Pole market is expected to contribute in the market's further expansion by the launch of new instant games, the expansion of sales network and the use of modern marketing practises.

The experience and extensive know-how of Intralot Group on the operation of instant lotteries as well as the WLA security certification to ?INSTANT LOTTERY S.A.? · subsidiary of Intralot · played a major role in the company's evaluation from the Pole authorities.

It's worth mentioning that Intralot' s subsidiaries, Instant Lottery and Loteria Moldovei, have undertaken the management and operation of instant lotteries in Greece and Moldova respectively, while the company already provides marketing services for instant tickets in Romania, Yugoslavia and Chile.
