On May 6th 2003, ΙΝΤRΑCΟΜ signed a three-year export contract for the manufacturing, industrialization, testing and development of Ericsson's HARD 3D radar subsystems products. HARD (Helicopter and Aircraft Radio Detection) is a new-generation 3D research and monitoring radar, suitable for short-range air defense systems.

With this project, INTRACOM undertakes the manufacturing of HARD radar, while at the same time gains the opportunity to be involved in marketing actions towards selling this product. At its initial stage, the project's budget amounts to 2.6 million EUR.
