Due to the merger through absorption of the company HELLENIC INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BANK (ETBA BANK) by PIRAEUS BANK S.A., and the halt of trading of the share of HELLENIC INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BANK (ETBA BANK), the specific share is erased from the FTSE/ASE 20 & FTSE/ASE 140 Indices.

Specifically, the following changes will take place:

• At FTSE/ASE 20 Index the share of the company HELLENIC INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BANK (ETBA BANK) is erased and replaced by the share of the company GERMANOS IND. & COM. CO S.A. which now participates in FTSE/ASE Mid 40.

• At FTSE/ASE Mid 40 Index the share of the company GERMANOS IND. & COM. CO S.A. is erased and replaced by the share of the company NOTOS COM HOLDINGS S.A. which now participates in FTSE/ASE SmallCap 80.

• At FTSE/ASE SmallCap 80 Index the share of the company NOTOS COM HOLDINGS S.A. is erased and replaced by the share of the company REDS S.A. weighted by 50%.

• At FTSE/ASE 140 Index the share of the company HELLENIC INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BANK (ETBA BANK) is erased and replaced by the share of the company REDS S.A. weighted by 50%.

The replacement will take place after the end of the trading session of Athex of 17.12.2003.
