Intralot Group had an impressive appearance at the 2nd European Lotteries Congress, which took place in Prague last week. The participants of the congress were top executives of the European state lottery organizations and the bigger lottery providers worldwide.

The booth of Intralot was at the spotlight, since the company had a prestigious location among the participated providers. The visitors had the opportunity to be informed about the wide range of the technological products of the company, and especially the new terminal of the leading Coronis line, the self-service ?Coronis Client?, which offers a new approach to wagering, by introducing the player/user concept. Moreover, the extensive know how that the company has developed through its successful operations of fixed odds games in the Southeastern Europe, was an additional factor that attracted the visitors? interest.

During the Congress, the CEO of Intralot Mr Constantinos Antonopoulos delivered a speech on 'Growth Opportunities For European Market', in which he referred to the dynamic of the European Organizations and the formatted tendency of the lottery gaming market. Furthermore, Mr Antonopoulos mentioned that the 'fast games' and the 'knowledge games' would lead the market in the mid-term, while new media will have an important role in the development of the market.

Last but not least, following the approval of the General Assembly of the European Lotteries Association, Eurofootball - Bulgaria?s sole sports betting operator and a subsidiary of Intralot Group (holder of 49% since February 2002) - became a regular member of the association.
