The Athens Stock Exchange welcomed today the Management and executives of Lamda Development S.A. on the commencement of trading for its Green Bond Loan. The CEO of Lamda Development, Odysseas Athanasiou, marked the opening of the trading session by ringing the traditional bell.

Welcoming the Management of Lamda Development, the CEO of the Athens Exchange Group, Yianos Kontopoulos, highlighted the significant success of the public offering, as reflected both in its oversubscription and in the high participation of retail investors. These elements serve as tangible and clear evidence of investors’ confidence in the prospects of the Hellinikon redevelopment project, as well as in the promising trajectory of Lamda Development overall. He further added: "Today’s bond loan carries an additional feature that enhances its value: it is a Green Bond. This means that the funds raised will be directed toward eligible investment categories such as the development of Sustainable Buildings and Sustainable Urban Outdoor Spaces, Green Energy, and Smart Cities. Moreover, this Green Bond by Lamda Development is the fifth to be featured on the ATHEX BONDS GREENet Platform of the Athens Stock Exchange, enabling investors to access comprehensive information related to the company’s future ESG initiatives. In this journey, the Athens Stock Exchange reaffirms its role as a key financing source for Greek enterprises, thereby contributing to the growth of the Greek economy. The remarkable success of today’s bond issuance by Lamda Development highlights the vast potential of the domestic capital market and its role in supporting the country’s development."

The Chair of the Hellenic Capital Markets Commission, Vasiliki Lazarakou, extended her congratulations to the entire team at Lamda Development and the advisors who contributed to the successful issuance.
