Following the expiration of the acceptance period of the Public Offer of the company EUREKO B.V. by the shareholders of INTERAMERICAN HELLENIC LIFE INSURANCE CO., the following changes will take place in the indices of the Athens Stock Exchange:

1) As far as the FTSE/ASE 20 is concerned, the share of INTERAMERICAN HELLENIC LIFE INSURANCE CO. will be replaced by the share (CR) of the company MOTOR OIL (HELLAS) CORINTH REFINERIES S.A. This share was the first in raw, according to the Basic Criteria of the FTSE/ASE 20 & FTSE / ASE Mid 40 Index Composition Calculations, on September 17, 2001. As of September 19, 2001, the share of the company MOTOR OIL (HELLAS) CORINTH REFINERIES S.A. will participate to the composition of the FTSE / ASE 20 index with a free float of 20%.

2) As for the General Index of the ASE Main Market and the insurance sector index, as of September 19, 2001, the share of the company INTERAMERICAN HELLENIC LIFE INSURANCE CO. is erased. The completion of the share position in these two indices will be realized during the next ordinary six-month reformation.
