With respect to the clarifications made by FTSE, regarding the calculation of FTSE Med 100 Index, FTSE announced:

''As per normal FTSE practice, the FTSE Med 100 Index began calculating on 9th June with a base level of 5000 points, and was publicly launched yesterday, on 19th June.

The FTSE Med 100 opened on Thursday 19th June at 5299.95 points and closed at 5276.79 points. These values were correctly distributed to and carried by data vendors around the world. The index correctly captured the performance of the three markets.''
