MOTOR OIL (HELLAS) CORINTH REFINERIES S.A announces that, following the relevant decision of the Annual Ordinary General Shareholders Meeting of June 1st, 2004 regarding the Buy Back of its own shares, during the period June 14th, 2004 - August 31st, 2004 which was defined by the BoD in its meeting of June 7th, 2004, the Company acquired 15,180 common registered shares at an average purchase price of 7.48 per share.

The shares acquired represent a percentage of 0.01370 % of the share capital of the Company.
