Within the context of its continuous efforts to develop the ATHEX Derivatives Market, innovate its product portfolio, increase its visibility among international investors and boost market activity, the Athens Stock Exchange has collaborated with MSCI, a leading provider of tools and services for the global investment community, to launch a new Futures product linked to the new MSCI Greece Rebased Index on May 10, 2023.
MSCI Greece Rebased Index is based on the MSCI Global Investable Market Indexes (GIMI) Methodology and is designed to measure the performance of the large and mid-cap segments in Greece, covering approximately 85% of the Greek equity universe.
The official presentation of the new Futures product on the MSCI Greece Rebased Index is taking place at the Athens Stock Exchange today (May 9, 2023) with the participation of MSCI Executives and stakeholders of the Greek Capital Market.
