OTE new fixed telephony tariffs will take effect as of Saturday, March 3rd, following the relevant decision of the National Telecommunication and Post Commission. It is reminded that, according to OTE previous announcement on January 10th, the new tariffs are as follows: ·Monthly fee: 2800 drachmas per month. ·Urban calls: 10,5 drachmas per minute at peak hours and 10,5 drachmas per 2 minutes at off-peak hours (22:00 · 08:00 daily and Sundays). ·Long Distance Calls: 28 drachmas per minute (flat tariff). ·International Calls: Average reduction of 10% (for E.U. countries, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore etc. charges are 84 drachmas per minute).Moreover, calls from fixed phones to COSMOTE mobile subscribers will be charged 98 drachmas per minute, instead of 110 drachmas that applied until nowadays.
