ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE COMMENTARY ON THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS/REPORTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2024

The Group of companies Ktima Costa Lazaridi S.A. has announced its financial results for the fiscal year 2024, based on the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

The Group’s sales for the period 01/01/2024–31/12/2024 amounted to €24.82 million, compared to €23.10 million during the same period last year, showing an increase of 7.43%.
The sales increase compared to the corresponding previous period is attributed to strengthened domestic sales of both wines and spirits.

The Group’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) amounted to €6.558 million, compared to €6.440 million in the previous year, showing an increase of 1.8%.

Earnings before taxes amounted to €4.156 million, compared to €4.361 million in the corresponding period last year, showing a decrease of 4.71%. This decline is due to the decrease in gross profit resulting from the increased prices of raw and packaging materials, as well as the increase in administrative and distribution expenses compared to the previous year.

The period’s results were also impacted by a €379 thousand loss due to vineyard uprooting, as part of a restructuring plan. Conversely, the results were positively affected by the depreciation of capital grants, amounting to €791 thousand, compared to €183 thousand during the previous period.

Net profit after tax amounted to €3.205 million, compared to €3.523 million, showing a decrease of 9%.
