MYTILINEOS HOLDINGS S.A. announces that its BOD decided on 12/10/2006 to appoint Mr. Αntonios Papageorgiou as Head of the Company''s Internal Audit department. Mr. Papageorgiou shall take over on October 16, 2006. Mr. Papageorgiou was a Partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1983 until May 2006, in the Auditing department, and has a long-term experience in the areas of risk, uncompromising and independence management, and Sarbanes Oxley 404. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of England and Ireland (FCCA) since 1991 and a member of the Greek Chartered Auditor Accountants (SOEL) since 1993, with the degree of Chartered Auditor.
