A joint venture comprising Aktor SA, Terna SA and J&P-AVAX SA, in which our Company controls 33.33%, signed on Sept 28, 2006 a contract for the project titled ''Construction of the Trapeza & Platanos Tunnels and the Ladopotamos Bridge in the Kiato-Aegio section of the Athens-Patras high-speed railway line'', budgeted at Euro 71.8 m (excl VAT), with ERGA OSE SA.
The projects pertains to the construction of railway tunnels at Trapeza (2,748.12 m) and Platanos (2,292.9 m) in Western Greece, along with escape tunnels with a total length of 1,053.23 m. The project also includes the construction of a twin railway bridge over the Ladopotamos river spanning 109.5 m, part of the new twin high-speed, standard width railway line running between Athens-Patras, in the section marked from 67+780 km to 73+135 km.
The project is due for completion in 36 months'' time.
