A joint venture comprising Aktor SA, Terna SA and J&P-AVAX SA, in which our Company controls 33.33%, signed on Sept 28, 2006 a contract for the project titled ''Completion of the Kallidromon Tunnel, earth-moving and other works related to the new railway line between Tithorea and Lianokladi, in the section marked from 0+000 km to 19+000 km'', budgeted at Euro178.8 m (excl VAT), with ERGA OSE SA.
The projects pertains to the completion of the railway tunnel at Kallidromon Mountain in Central Greece, which includes boring and cladding of the twin tunnels'' central section situated in the rail line running for approximately 12 kilometres between the 6+627.03 km and 12+634.53 km marks, with a boring front diameter of approximately 100 m and inside diameter of 60 m. The project also includes the construction of connecting tunnels and the completion of infrastructure in the surface line in two sections marked from 0+000 km to 5+140 km (tunnel entrance) and 14+400 km (tunnel exit) to 19+100 km.
The project is due for completion in 40 months'' time.
