The presentation of the INTRALOT Group took place today in the Association of Greek Institutional Investors, in the course of its regular events, by the company''s CEO Mr. Constantinos Antonopoulos.
During his speech, Mr. Antonopoulos presented the operations and the financials of INTRALOT and described the Company''s growth drivers and targets for its further expansion.
Among other issues, Mr. Antonopoulos, mentioned that INTRALOT is now the second largest company in the sector internationally, shaping the technological and operational developments in the global gaming market. The Company operates through 39 subsidiaries and 8 business offices in 5 continents, with over 3,600 employees.
Moreover, Mr. Antonopoulos commented on the recent successes of the Company as the signing of new major contracts that, among others, include the significant gaming markets of Taiwan and South Africa and the acquisition of a significant position in the Italian fixed-odds betting market.
Finally, Mr. Antonopoulos described the important opportunities that arise from the privatizations of international lotteries and mainly the US State lottery privatizations, which is a process in progress. In addition, a significant growth driver for the Company will be the liberalization of the gaming markets, like the expected opening of the Spanish fixed-odds betting market. Also, the Company is targeting its further expansion in the Asian market, the largest gaming market globally, where INTRALOT already has a significant presence.
