ALPHA TRUST Shares Listed on the Main Market of the Athens Stock Exchange

The Athens Stock Exchange welcomed today the management and executives of ALPHA TRUST on the listing of their securities on the Main Market of the Athens Stock Exchange. The President and Co-founder of ALPHA TRUST, Faidon Tamvakakis, rang the traditional bell to mark the opening of the session.

"It is with great pleasure that we welcome today the management and executives of ALPHA TRUST, who, having met all the necessary requirements, turn a new page and continue their stock market journey on the Main Market of the Athens Stock Exchange," said Yianos Kontopoulos, CEO of the Athens Exchange Group, in his welcoming address. He added, "Let us remember that 14 years ago, in August 2008, ALPHA TRUST was one of the first companies to mark the opening of the Alternative Market of the Athens Stock Exchange. A market created precisely for this purpose: to facilitate the entry of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) into the stock market, serving as a steppingstone for their further development and, ultimately, their transfer to the Main Market. Small and medium-sized enterprises form the backbone of the Greek economy. The Athens Stock Exchange can and must support them through alternative financing options, so they can play the pivotal role they deserve, benefiting both the market and society. For this reason, we are particularly pleased to welcome ALPHA TRUST today to the Main Market of the Athens Stock Exchange. We wish them every success in achieving their next goals in this new journey."

The Chair of the Capital Markets Commission, Vassiliki Lazarakou, congratulated the management, executives, and advisors of ALPHA TRUST for this successful step: "You have managed, with methodical effort, to move from the Alternative Market to the Organized Market of the Athens Stock Exchange, and we hope that your example will be followed by other companies."

From her side, the B’ Vice President of the Capital Market Commission, Anastasia Stamou, congratulated the management and all those involved for the success of the initiative and wished for similar success in the company's future steps.

"Thirty-five years ago, ALPHA TRUST was built on the belief that the Athens Stock Exchange can and must play a central role in the healthy development of Greek businesses. A role that neither foreign exchanges nor banks alone can fulfill," emphasized Faidon Tamvakakis, President of ALPHA TRUST, in his speech. He continued, "We, the employees, shareholders, and investors of ALPHA TRUST, believe that any doubt regarding the importance of a national capital market is temporary. Listing on the Athens Stock Exchange has long-term implications and follows a long maturation process. Today, we cross the threshold of the Main Market, not as an end but as the beginning of higher goals and greater achievements."
