The 24^th Annual Capital Link Invest in Greece Forum, organized by Capital Link in collaboration with the Athens Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange, concludes today in New York.

Under the theme "Sustaining Growth & Investment Momentum," this year’s Forum focused on emerging investment opportunities in Greece and the significantly improved perception of the country as an investment and business destination.

The substantial shift in investor sentiment was evident in the discussions held, with particular emphasis placed on Greece’s remarkable return to global capital markets and the strong interest that foreign investors are showing in engaging with the country.

As part of this year’s forum, a special event titled “Greek American Issuer Day at the New York Stock Exchange” took place at the New York Stock Exchange.

Minister of Finance Christos Staikouras, CEO of the Athens Exchange Group Yianos Kontopoulos, and Chairman & CEO of TEN Ltd, Dr. Nikos Tsakos, rang the closing bell of the trading session on Thursday, December 8, 2022.

Earlier in the day, Mr. Kontopoulos participated in a panel discussion alongside Ms. Vasiliki Lazarakou, Chair of the Hellenic Capital Markets Commission, and Mr. Anastasios Astyfides, Founder & CEO of Ambrosia Capital. The discussion, moderated by George Bersis, Managing Partner at POTAMITISVEKRIS, was titled “A New Era for the Greek Capital Markets – Opportunities for Issuers & Investors.”

The forum’s proceedings opened with a message from Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis to investors. The event was attended by numerous representatives from the Greek government, organizations from the U.S. and Europe, and executives from Greek businesses.

The CEO of the Athens Exchange Group will be the keynote speaker at tonight’s official dinner, marking the conclusion of this year’s conference.
