The Athens Stock Exchange participated once again in the 2024 World Investor Week, an initiative jointly organized by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE).

As part of this global initiative, the Deputy Minister of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports, responsible for Primary, Secondary, and Special Education, Zetta Makri, inaugurated the Athens Stock Exchange's trading session by ringing the opening bell. During her address, she emphasized that the modern Greek educational system aims to prepare students for the challenges of today. Through the award-winning Skills Workshops and the upgraded curriculum, the initiative seeks to introduce students to financial literacy and foster familiarity with economic education.

The event also welcomed teachers and students from the 12th grade of Athens' 50th General High School, who had the opportunity to engage firsthand with the financial and investment ecosystem.
