Athens Exchange Group (the “ATHEXGROUP”), through its holding companies, supports the development and operation of the Greek Capital Market. ATHEXGROUP’s companies are seated at 110 Athinon Avenue, GR  104 42, Attica, Greece, licensed and operate under the European and national regulatory framework and supervised by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission. 


ATHEXGROUP’s companies, have created the website https://www.athexgroup.gr/, (the “Website”) to present their business activities, as well as the products and services they offer, providing to you all the information you need, in accordance with the terms of use set out below and all the terms incorporated by reference (the “Terms of Use”).


Please read these Terms of Use before using our Webpages. The use of the Webpages entails your unconditional and full acceptance of the Terms of Use. Also, you acknowledge that you have read the Website Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy. If you are using the Webpages on behalf of any entity, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to accept these Terms of Use on such entity's behalf, and that such entity agrees to be responsible to the ATHEXGROUP’s companies for any violations of these Terms of Use. However, to access and participate in particular products and services, you may be required to complete a registration process and create an account (the “Account”) by providing current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the registration form under the special terms and conditions that apply to the respective products and services. Property Rights / Trademarks


We inform you that we exclusively retain all the intellectual property rights of the Webpages and the Content, which are protected in accordance with the applicable provisions of Greek, European and International Law, except for the expressly recognized rights of third parties for which we have secured a license to use.


Accordingly, we exclusively retain the ownership of the trademarks, service marks, trade names, trade appearance and products contained in the Webpages, which are also protected under the applicable provisions of Greek, European and International law.


Any other content on the Webpages that is registered trademark and intellectual property of third parties is their responsibility and not associated with our Website.


Your access to the Webpages and the use of the Content, subject to the Terms of Use, shall not be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel or otherwise, any license or right to use the Content and any mark displayed on the Webpages, without the prior written permission of an authorized representative of the ΑΤΗΕΧGroup’s companies or its third party owner, unless otherwise specified in the Terms of Use or you have a written agreement in effect with ΑΤΗΕΧGroup’s companies which states otherwise.


License to Use


Subject to the Terms of Use, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-assignable, non-transferable license to use the Webpages and the Content solely for your personal information, strictly prohibiting the commercial use of the Content and the obtaining, in any way, of economic gain, using the Content.


Unless you have a written agreement in effect with ATHEXGROUP’s companies which states otherwise, you may only provide a hypertext link to the Webpage on another website, provided that the link:

  • Shall be part of hypertext 
  • Must be a text-only link clearly marked "ATHEXGROUP’s Home Page" or “Official ATHEXGROUP’s website” or “athexgroup.gr”,
  • must point to the URL "https://www.athexgroup.gr" and not to other pages within the Website,
  • the appearance, position and other aspects of the link may not be such as to damage or dilute the goodwill associated with ATHEXGROUP’s name and trademarks and the appearance, position and other aspects of the link may not create the false appearance that an entity is associated with or sponsored by ATHEXGROUP’s companies,
  • the link, when activated by a user, must display Website’s home page full-screen and not within a "frame" on the linked website.


The conditions above shall be met cumulatively. In any event, we reserve the right to revoke our consent to the link at any time and at our sole discretion.


Accordingly, the individual and partial storing and copying of the Content is allowed for your personal use, provided that it will be accompanied by an express and distinct reference to its originating source and that it will not be used for commercial or other purposes. This shall not be considered as granting the Content’s proprietary rights.


User’s Behavior

ATHEXGROUP’s companies reserve the right to restrict, suspend or terminate your access, at their sole discretion, if you violate these Terms of Use or the applicable legislation or misuse the Webpages and the Content.


In any event, you are explicitly responsible for any harm to ATHEXGROUP’s companies due to improper or unlawful use of the Websites or the Content. If ATHEXGROUP’s companies are involved in any judicial dispute or are required to indemnify a third party of any nature whatsoever, for reasons related to a breach of these Terms of Use by you, you undertake to enter a caveat and to indemnify ATHEXGROUP’s companies, on these grounds.


DISCLAIMERS OF WARRANTY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We use our best efforts to ensure that the Content is reliable and up to date; however, in exceptional circumstances, errors or omissions may occur. In such a case, ATHEXGROUP’s companies apologize to you, but make no warranties that the data published is accurate, complete, appropriate and up to date. ATHEXGROUP’s companies shall not be liable for the use of the data provided or its omissions and inaccuracies.


The Content is provided “as is” and its use is entirely at your own risk. For this reason, you acknowledge that you must evaluate the Content and you are solely responsible for any risk that may be caused by the use of the Content, including any decision taken by you in reliance upon the Content’s correctness, completeness, validity or fitness for any particular purpose.

Despite our efforts, we cannot guarantee integrity, technical adequacy, and uninterrupted operation of the Webpages. From time to time, access to them may be interrupted, suspended, or restricted due to malfunction, error, unforeseen circumstances, or scheduled maintenance.

Governing Law and other terms


These Terms of Use are governed by the provisions of Greek law, the Rules and Directives of European law and relevant international provisions and shall be construed in accordance with the rules of good faith, equitable principles and the economic and social purpose of the right. 


Should any of the terms hereof be declared contrary to the law and therefore void or voidable it shall ipso jure cease to be effective, but the remaining terms hereof shall under no circumstances be affected and shall continue to remain in full force and effect. 


Any dispute arising hereunder shall be subject to the competent jurisdiction of the Athens courts.
