The purpose of the conference is to discuss roundtable results; what was delivered in the Action Plan on EU Company Law and Corporate Governance, adopted in 2012, and what is in the pipeline. The overall intent of the conference is to heighten awareness on how corporate governance can promote long- term investment and to present good examples on how self-regulation works.

Registration opens at 08:00, the conference begins at 09:00 and breaks for lunch at 13:30. Before lunch the presentations and panel discussions will focus on the results from the Experts Roundtable(of the day before), monitoring code compliance, board and investor engagement and board diversity.

Following lunch there are three concurrent workshops; Corporate Governance: Tone at the Top, Reporting on Corporate Governance, Risk and Compliance and Women on Boards. Respectively, the first two workshops are with the support of the Hellenic Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (acfe.gr) and the third workshop is organized by SEV (Hellenic Federation of Enterprises).

The Hellenic Minister of Development, the Chairman of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission and the Chairman of the Hellenic Exchanges will preside during the Plenary.
