Index Description
The FTSE/Athex 20 index started on September 23, 1997 with 1,000 points as its basis and it was designed by Athens Exchange in cooperation with FTSE International Limited. The main goal of the index is to represent, on a real time basis, the performance of the twenty (20) biggest in terms of capitalization listed companies in Athens Exchange.
