MICHANIKI S.A. has completed the construction of the northbound section of the Krystallopigi bridge on ?Egnatia Odos? motorway (segment Igoumenitsa - Ioannina), northwestern Greece.

It is a 12 span, curved bridge stretching for 638 meters.

At the same time MICHANIKI S.A. has also constructed the foundations as well as most of the piers of the southbound section of the bridge, which has 16 spans and is 858 meters long. The southbound section will be completed by October 2003.

The rapid construction of the bridge is achieved through the use of a special Movable Scaffolding System (MSS), which has been constructed by MICHANIKI's subsidiary company, BIEX Metal Constructions.
