MICHANIKI S.A. completed the construction of the project "Detour Arta - Filippiada", budgeted at 15 billion drachmas (44 million euro).

The project includes two sections. The first section, 10 km long, consists of a four-lane highway, which is 11 meters wide per direction, separated with a traffic barrier. The second, 5 km long, is a two-lane roadway with a total width of 12.5 meters.

Along the 15 Km long highway a number of additional projects were built:

- The Louros river bridge wirh a length of 60 meters,
- The tunnel of Arta, 200m long,
- The Aracthos river bridge with a length of 191 meters,
- 15 culvert boxes with span larger than 4 meters,
- 63 culvert boxes with span smaller than 4 meters,
- Excavation works of 1,120,000 cubic meters and landfill works of 2,050,000 cubic meters.
