THE HELLENIC CAPITAL MARKET COMMISSION - Liquidation of Shares

A. The Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC), by the relevant decision of its Executive Committee, decides unanimously the following:

1. The appointment of the company ALPHA FINANCE SECURITIES-INVESTMENT CO. S.A., as the competent ATHEX Member to carry out the liquidation of the following shares:
. 1,001 common registered shares of the company NATIONAL BANK OF GREECE S.A.
. 1,000 common registered shares of the company PETZETAKIS S.A.
. 1,000 common registered shares of the company PIRAEUS BANK S.A.

2. The liquidation of the aforementioned shares to be concluded in the Trading & Market Support Department of the ATHEX, on March 13, 2006, in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the HCMC Circular no.28/15.2.2006 and Article 99 of the ATHEX Regulation.

3. The opening price for the liquidation of the shares in question cannot be less than the share?s closing price on the last trading session, prior to the carrying out date of the liquidation, by a percentage exceeding (3%).

4. The ATHEX Member is obliged to inform the Central Securities Depository in Athens about the result of the said liquidation.

B. The Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC), by the relevant decision of its Executive Committee, decides unanimously the following:

1. The appointment of the company ARTION SECURITIES-INVESTMENT CO. S.A., as the competent ATHEX Member to realize the liquidation of the following shares:
. 540 common registered shares of the company ALPHA BANK S.A.
. 1,100 common registered shares of the company EGNATIA BANK S.A.
. 2,000 common bearer shares of the company GENERAL COMMERCIAL & INDUSTRIAL CO. S.A.

2. The liquidation of the aforementioned shares to be concluded in the Trading & Market Support Department of the ATHEX, on Thursday, March 23, 2006, in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the HCMC Circular no.28/15.2.2006 and Article 99 of the ATHEX Regulation.

3. The opening price for the liquidation of the shares in question cannot be less than the share?s closing price on the last trading session, prior to the carrying out date of the liquidation, by a percentage exceeding (3%).

4. The ATHEX Member is obliged to inform the Central Securities Depository in Athens about the result of the said liquidation.
